St. Vincent de Paul Society

Operating out of most Catholic churches in

K-W provides emergency food supplies in geographic areas. You may be directed to another site if you do not live within a church’s boundary. For assistance, contact the Catholic church nearest to your residence or call 519-743-5576 to find your site

The Waterloo Region Energy Assistance Program (WREAP) helps households with low-incomes avoid the consequences of not being able to pay their utility bills, such as loss of heat or homelessness

Affordable Community Housing gives individuals and families with low- to moderate-income households the opportunity to rent a housing unit at a lower cost.

Kitchener Housing

Provides housing for people with disabilities who are single adults or childless couples under the age of 60 and able to live independently
